It was good to see quite a varied selection of traditional nursery rhymes depicted in the entires that were received. It was also nice to see a good number of entries this time and a variety of stitching techniques used. As you will see there were also a few quite original interpretations of the theme.

The MNS owes a big "Thank you" to judges Ginnie and Nickie from Five Valleys Bears who did not find it easy to decide on the final prize winners due to the high standard of work submitted. This is reflected in the fact that they decided to choose 4 prize winners along with 2 highly commended entries.

With 20 entries there was a wide variety of designs and techniques. These were on display at Spring Miniatura 2019 and will be in the MNS display at "A World in Miniature" at Houghton Hall.

1/12th Scale:1st Prize (and 4th Prize) - Sue Resseguie,   2nd Prize - Rhoda Adamson3rd Prize - Teresa Norton   Highly Commended - Pat Wootten and Rosemary Jeynes.

Other entries: Etta Auld,  Liz Molloy, Pat Wootten, Jenny Furlong, Alicia Sledge, Glenys McKee and Alison Sunman
